Information for exam officers
Use this information if pupils have questions related to their exam results on the app.
What time results will be available in the app
A pupil who has been issued an education record will get their exam results in the app from 11am on GCSE and Level 1/2 VTQ results day. Depending on the data transfer, some results may take more time and pupils should not be worried if there is a delay to seeing their results on the app.
If a pupil's results are different in the app
If the results in the app are different to a pupil's results slip provided by their school or college, pupils should use their results slip to provide evidence of their results.
Can pupils just receive the results in the app instead of going into school?
The app is not intended to replace the results slip provided by school - these can be released to pupils from 8am on results day.
If a pupil's results aren't all in the app
A pupil's results in the app may show as incomplete. Pupils should not be worried if there is a delay to seeing their results on the app and should use their results slip as evidence of their results.
If there is an unexpected qualification on a pupil's app
If there is a qualification in a pupil's app that they don't think should be there they should contact their school. They can use their results slip as evidence of their results.
If there is a change of grade after the outcome of a review of results, appeal or other enquiry about results
A review of exam results can result in a grade change, which could go up or down, or remain the same. If there is a change of grade, the results on the app will be updated once the data is transferred from the awarding organisation.
